Three Strong Investigators and the Lord's work is rolling forth in countries and in languages all over the world.

Hey!!!

Here are the thoughts of a German Elder in a world that is becoming more wicked and sharing the gospel throughout the world.

When I first got out on my mission people all in America always said you are going to a mission where you won't baptize a ton of people. Where the work is tough and people are tired of religion. I used it as a justification for a lot of things when the work didn't go my way, I would say it was because we were in Germany and that the people weren't ready. I stand corrected, the people of Germany are at this moment and I give testimony, are seeing the gathering of the tribes of Israel. We are teaching people who languages we don't even have members there, people would have never received the gospel if had not been for war and contention. Our Stake here in Frankfurt speaks 29 different languages and that number is rising. Yes, the world is getting more wicked, but to be honest WHAT DID WE EXPECT. The Bible prophecys of the wickedness that this world would see. So we have no room to be surprised, simply we need to be prepared. I have seen miracle upon miracle, blessing upon blessing. As we repent and make the change to better ourselves and better our missionary work. We too can gain this fire of the gathering of Israel and the work of the Lord. He knows exactly what he is doing. Coming from a missionary in "Europe", this work is moving forward faster than we can imagine. Soon we will see branches and congregations of people speaking languages we didn't even know existed. We choose as members whether to get on board or not. It is a simple invitation. Come Follow Him  is a simple phrase. The people of Germany are catching this fire and so can we, and as this fire is lit and burns inside of us it will shine forth. People will notice us and ask us questions and if ours eyes could be opened and we could see, we would see thousands of Gods children eagerly awaiting to hear the gospel. Yes some may be mean and not curious about God's message, welcome to the apostolic ministry. If we don't finds ourselves ever with our backs against the wall of faith where knowledge can't lead us anymore. The moment where we find ourselves standing face to face with the devil himself, then it is time to repent and come unto him. It is time to awaken your faculties and rise to the occasion. I have learned this gospel is not a gospel of fun, it is a gospel of joy and joy means work, sweat, blood, tears, and pain. The Joy is worth it!!!

Yeah that's my soap-box for the week!!

We had an amazing week of miracles, first off we got another headquarters referral! He is a stain glassed maker who met the missionaries when he was 5 years old, he had the feeling that he should just have us over. He has a baptismal date for March 15th!!!

Second T/ S he is doing great we may have to move the baptismal date back a little just so that we can make sure he is prepared enough but he came to church and is doing amazing he is one of my closed friends here in Germany! He is struggling right now understanding the divinity of god and Jesus Christ, if you could pray for him specifically that would be great!

Third We are now teaching a man named S., he is actually the brother of the recent convert who just got sealed in the temple to his girlfriend!! It was amazing. We went by to visit him yesterday he was home playing video games. He came across as a partier and not super interested. But then we got talking about the gospel and he was super interested and really wants to find meaning life. We are meeting with him and his brother and wife next week!! Great opportunity. Great testimony builder of not judging the book by its cover.

Fourth I went on a split with my good friend Elder Webber he was in my MTC group. We had a great split together, we talked a lot about the good ole days and actually we found 3 new investigators while on the split!! It was amazing, they found in total by the end of the week 14 new investigators which is unheard of! It was insane, It was fun to be in Nürnberg. We actually went and worked out in the morning there on Zepplinfelds. The Nazi marching ground back in the day. Bet ole Hitler is rolling over in his grave, because Mormon missionaries are training on his beloved marching grounds.  ha ha

Overall just a great week, had some amazing splits learned a ton and saw some amazing miracles. I just love being here in Frankfurt, just getting to love the German people and helping missionaries out. The funny thing is that they help me out more then I help them out, go figure -- charity.

This church is true and I know that my Redeemer Lives

T. Baptism and Elder White Sings a Solo

Well this week was crazy!! We had the Worldwide broadcast, transfers, the baptism and lessons!!

First starting off this week we had the worldwide mission broadcast that we watched live from Salt Lake it was so cool!! They had training on how we can help convert people who are truly converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was cool to talk about Repentance and baptism. The new missionaries were there and they were so tired they kept falling asleep, it was fun though because we got to watch it at the mission home. That place is awesome!! It's like our home away from home and the spirit is so strong there, truly peaceful. Well after that we drove all of the new missionaries to the hotel where they were so tired. We had some more stuff to do and were up late but that's okay. We don't sleep a ton during transfer week. The next day we had the leavers day which was the most trunkie day of my mission.(Trunkie means homesick) Because all of the Sisters that were leaving the mission to go home came here when I got here and I remember them all on our first day in the MTC. It was weird and my district leader from my very first district in Offenbach came back from Switzerland and some other missionaries came who had been home for about a year!! All in all weird and strange to see them all go, buts okay. Life moves on!

T. had his baptism this week, which was awesome, President Stoddard did his interview and he said he was the most prepared person he had ever interviewed for baptism here on the mission. It was awesome!! He actually asked President Stoddard to give him the gift of the Holy Ghost. So that was awesome. His parents drove down also from East Germany to see the baptism. They have been pretty skeptical about the whole thing but wow they were blown away and T. brought two friends who were super impressed!! He is going to be an amazing member!! Elder Fitzgerald baptized him and just so you know Elder Fitzgerald is about 140 lbs and T. is my size. T. was freakin out the whole time thinking that Elder Fitzgerald wouldn't get him out of the water. It was funny, but it went amazing and T. cried after wards because he felt so happy! You could feel the change in him!!

After the baptism I sang a solo musical number! No joke, I have been having this feeling that I have talents I don't use a lot, so I decided as a gift and in honor of him, and overcoming my fears, that I would do something. So for the first time in my life, I sang in front of about 30 people the song "Nearer my God to Thee" in German of course. T. thought I was kidding when I originally told him, but I said, "For real, I'm going to sing". He was blown away and really grateful for the experience! I thought it was a good opportunity for me to share my testimony. With everyone!

Later that night we visited my good friend Bruder H. He has been in the hospital for about 2 months now we go weekly by to see how he is doing and check up on him. He is another one of my best friends here in Frankfurt. Also, we went to the Elders quorum activity and had Grün Kohl und Pinkle Wurst. Classic German meal, it was super funny. They had alcohol-free beer, which is huge here, and it looked like Oktoberfest in the cultural hall at the church!! DEUTSCHLAND!!!!

Sunday was awesome as we layed our hands on his head and gave him the gift of the Holy Ghost. He is just such a prepared young man who has given up a lot to be where he is today!! Overall great week!! Looking forward to next week and what it holds.

Something I have learned lately is that this life never was, has or will be easy. But that is what makes it worth it. When it's easy we get to take breaks and stop and think about ourselves, when it's hard we turn to others for help and strength. Our testimony sometimes is the only thing we can bring with us or is the only thing left. We must remember as was said in one of the talks at baptism. " We are all kings and queens, with a noble birthright". If we could only remember who we were before this life. It would shock us! Jesus Christ is truly my savior and Redeemer sometimes I feel alone but I never have to be alone, because he lifts us when we fall. The Atonement is personal and specific yet far reaching enough to be called infinite.

22. And now , after the many testimonies which have been given of him , this is , last of all , the testimony that we give of him : That he lives !

23 For we saw him , even on the right hand of God ; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is-- the Only Begotten of the Father

24 that the worlds are from him and through him and of him and were created , and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters to God.
