E. sets a baptism date for July 25th and it's HOT HOT HOT in Germany

Well we are finally moved in and summer is here and it is hot. Unfortunately Germany doesn't believe in AC so we are left to sweat!!

What doesn't kill ya makes you stronger oder!

Well it has been a crazy week of teaching and running around and trying to juggle two areas at the same time but we are managing.

Unfortuntely, I blessed with a cold, it was pretty bad but I got over it super fast which was awesome!

Crazy miracle for this week and it kind of sums up the whole week. We had an investigator named Emil come to church last week after Elder Butler invited him to come and participate. We had an appointment on Friday with him. We went to go and find his home but when we went to the address we couldnt find it. I was thinking the whole time, "this is just another potential investigator down the drain". Then we called him and he didn't pick up, we kind of gave up and just headed back to Hamm. We decided to do some contacting since we had some extra time and we were talking when all the sudden the phone rings and it was E. He said that he was expecting us that we werent there, we told him we could meet by the city center and so we did! We found him and talk for a while about his past. He is from a country called Macedonia on the border of Armenia and Cosvo. He lives in one of the thoses cities that you read about in the news that is being attacked by the Armenians. He is here in Germany getting his mother medical treatment. His story was so awesome as he talked about God and Jesus and their role in his life. We went on to talk about life and really connected. He used to stay up late and watch the NBA back in the Micheal Jordan time. We ended up taking a bus to his home and meeting his mother. We sat down and taught one of the most spiritual lessons ever! We committed him to baptism and then left. He said he would be at church. We randomly saw him the next day and said hello and then on Sunday we saw him! He came to church and loved it ( we translate it for him into english). Then afterwards we had a lesson and talked about Joseph Smith. Then taught him about the Book of Mormon and challenged him to pray. He was so excited just kept saying "this the help I have been praying for, this joy that I feel right now, I want to have it for the rest of my life". It was so cool and he was so excited. Then I asked " what do you think about baptism" he said " It's great I want to be baptized!" and right there we set a date of July 25th. We then went on to figure out he has to go back to Macedonia on August 6th. He said he doesn't want to and hopes he can stay here in Germany, but I looked him in the eyes and told him "As a Representative of Jesus Christ, we speak in his behalf, if you pray to your Heavenly Father he will show you what you need to do and what he has in store you". This burning tingling feeling filled my body and I knew that Lord was baring witness to him of the divinity of our calling and binding the words that I said. He said "Yeah he is a great god, he knows everything!" Elder Butler told and bore witness of the love god has for him and he was so excited! We finished it off with him praying in Serbian. Then we wanted to see where the closes chapels was to his home. turns out their are no church in the Macedonia. It is part of the Adratic South Mission. I dont know what the Lord has in store or what will happen. All I know is that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is the Christ and his gospel will be preached to all the globe. Everyone will have the oppurtunity to hear his gospel. All we have to do is find these people!!!

What a blessing it is to be here in Hamm serving and growing!

Love you yall
